Episode 8 : Bowls of Hope goes MULTI-CITY!!!

We’re excited to share that Bowls of Hope has now reached a new milestone - we’ve expanded beyond Chennai, with water bowls placed in Bangalore as well!

What began as a small effort to provide water to street animals during Chennai’s intense summers has slowly grown into a larger community effort. Our bowls continue to serve stray dogs every day - offering a simple way to care, especially when the heat becomes unbearable.

In Chennai, the original bowls are still going strong. Volunteers refill and clean them regularly, and the dogs in the area have come to rely on them. Alongside this, daily feeding continues - keeping around 20 community dogs healthy and cared for.

More people are getting involved - helping with upkeep, refilling, and even starting new bowls in their neighbourhoods.

What’s made this special is the sense of shared responsibility it’s inspired - neighbours, shopkeepers, students, and passersby stepping in to help however they can.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported the journey so far.
