Why I’ve Been Missing for a Bit And What’s New

Hi everyone,
I know I’ve been a little quiet here lately, and I wanted to share why. The last few weeks have been a mix of chaos, learning, and unexpected life-stuff that demanded more of me than usual. Between managing work, applications, and a few personal commitments, I didn’t want to show up here half-present. I’ve always believed that when I post, it should be thoughtful and meaningful, not rushed for the sake of staying active.
But the quiet didn’t mean nothing was happening. In fact, a lot has.
Bowls of Hope Updates
Even though I wasn’t posting, Bowls of Hope hasn’t paused for a second.
We crossed a new milestone: 50+ bowls still active, many getting refills from neighbours who’ve quietly joined in.
A couple of new volunteers stepped up, people who messaged saying, “Saw the bowl in my lane; can I help too?”
Two dogs who were struggling with dehydration this month are now doing well because someone noticed the bowl nearby and took extra care.
It reminded me that kindness keeps moving even when we slow down.
What’s Coming Next
Now that I’m settling back in, here’s what you can expect:
More short posts on practical street animal care (especially things anyone can do in 2 minutes).
A deeper look into how we can build micro-rescue models that communities can copy.
And yes, more behind-the-scenes updates from the Bowls of Hope routes.
Thank you for sticking around, for checking in, and for being patient with my silence.I’m back, with a clearer mind and a stronger sense of purpose.
See you in the next post 💛
